Paul Robinson I’ve seen this [fast change piston] up close. It’s easier than it looks. I watched him take one of these apart and put back together in less than 5 minutes. Bill came out to our job site today and measured the rods he sold us a year ago. They measured the same as when we put them in. We do not use sand separators on our mud pumps (though we should) and we drill in very sandy soils. The rods we bought from DSM Mahew would have had to be replaced at least twice.
